When you start to exercising make sure to stretch the muscle groups which you will be using for that workout. If you plan to run or walk outside make sure you have the proper clothing attire. Also make sure to check the weather and prepare accordingly. Its recommended to drink 8 to 16 ounces of water before your workout, and 1 glass every 20-30 minutes.
